Hereditary Breast Cancer Awareness PINK Open Day Healthy Living Centre Come along to our Pink open day, anyone who comes down to the Healthy Living Centre wearing pink, including non members, can have access to: Free Gym, Free Swimming, Free Health Spa, and Free Children's Soft Play and all we ask is please make a donation to the National Hereditary Breast Cancer Helpline. On the day we are planning to arrange the ultimate climbing challenge, in which the aim is to climb up the equivalent of Mount Everest e.g. 900 times on the climbing wall to raise money for the NHBCH We will also be holding a raffle on the day to win various prizes e.g. 8 Week Shape Up Package worth £90 and Inspire Pamper Day worth £45 More details to follow |

35 intrepid supporters threw caution to the wind and hurled themselves out of an aircraft at 13,000 ft...! it was a bit scary but we all enjoyed the experience of a 45 second free fall at 120mph and then gliding gently to earth for a safe landing, after which we retired to the Royal Oak, Old Tupton for a bit of a party. Probably the most exiting thing we have ever done and early estimates indicate thet we have managed to raise around £10,000 for the helpline, so a big thanks to all of you that took part and to those who came along to support us, also a great big thanks to Langer Skydive for doing such a great job and making us feel as confident as most of us did. What an amazing day!! We raised £2880!!! Thank you so much to all the staff at Brampton Manor for such a wonderful event. Big thanks go to Craig and Anita for arranging such a well polished day. To all the guys who provided the fun fair rides on the day and donated there profits! To Oreo the racoon and friends for making an appearance, to the Peak Riders and Harley Owners club who tuned up with over 50 Harley Davidson's! To all the bands for donating there time for free to play on the day and a HUGE thank you to all our helpers who worked tirelessly all day selling raffle tickets, merchandise and much much more, your support is invaluable!! Here's to next year!! |
